Radio Surveys and Certifications
Prokyon ApS is certified and approved by the following classification societies to perform radio surveys:

- Danish Maritime Authority
For many years, we have carried out radio inspections on behalf of all major classification societies.
We understand the importance of thorough inspection and proper maintenance of emergency and safety equipment – so the crew can rely on it 100% in case of an emergency.
Our radio technicians hold GOC (General Operator’s Certificates) and are fully qualified to service and inspect all radio equipment required for surveys. All technicians have also completed extensive training in the regulations that govern inspections.
We work closely with classification societies to remain fully updated on new requirements. To ensure quality and full traceability, all our measurement equipment is regularly calibrated and verified by an independent test laboratory.
Prokyon is approved by both the Danish Maritime Authority and RINA to perform radio surveys on GMDSS-required vessels. We guarantee rapid response times and arrive with fully calibrated professional test equipment – ready to use.
Since 2008, we have been carrying out radio surveys on smaller Danish vessels, using advanced Futronic AIS-GMDSS test equipment that is regularly updated and calibrated.
Radio Surveys and Certifications
Prokyon ApS maintains close collaboration with classification societies and is therefore always up to date with new rules and requirements that may affect the execution of radio surveys. To ensure high quality and full traceability of our work, all measuring equipment used by our technicians is continuously calibrated and checked by an independent testing laboratory.
Prokyon is approved by the Danish Maritime Authority and RINA to perform radio surveys on GMDSS-mandatory vessels. We offer fast response times and professional testing equipment—ready for use.
Since 2008, Prokyon has conducted radio surveys on smaller Danish vessels. Most tests related to radio surveys are performed using Futronic AIS-GMDSS testing equipment, which is regularly calibrated and updated
